ILLUSTRATIVE ASSESSMENT
DemoVault.sol SAMPLE
Two example findings, connected to their source
External Call Before The Balance Update
The example transfers Ether before clearing the sender’s recorded balance. A recipient contract could call back into withdraw() while that balance is still available. Review the order of state changes and external interactions
A Failed Transfer Can Go Unnoticed
The example’s pay() function ignores the boolean returned by a low-level call. If the transfer fails, execution can continue without recording that failure. Define and handle the expected failure path explicitly

The order matters: the recipient can regain control before the recorded balance is cleared
